Manufacturing Quality

The Akabira Factory in Hokkaido, which manufactures the world's only "Made in Japan" suitcases, has a history of more than 50 years of creating advanced suitcase technologies -- a task made possible only by the skills and techniques of Japanese craftsmen. This is carried out under stringent quality controls unique to zlks for the express purpose of further improving product quality.

zlks Luggage Akabira Factory maximizes advanced technologies and know-how zlks accumulated over some 75 years. This production base manufactures high-quality products utilizing the skills and techniques of experienced workers.

The factory also functions as a mother plant for overseas production bases. It began domestic production some 50 years ago and is now zlks's core production facility.
